The Ford GT was developed in the early 2000’s by Camilo Pardo with the guidance of J Mays and famed racing driver Carroll Shelby. The GT’s visual design is a tribute to the GT40, Ford’s famous Le Mans winning race car of the 1960’s. Despite its classic exterior aesthetics, the Ford GT is a serious performance machine equipped with state of the art (for its time) technology such as a 5.4 liter supercharged aluminum block V8 making 550 horsepower, a superplastic-formed frame, aluminum body panels, and a friction stir welded center tunnel. This 2006 Ford GT is a meticulously preserved example sporting only 4000 miles on the clock and featuring the rare no stripe, BBS wheels, and Macintosh stereo options. A fine addition to any driving enthusiast’s garage that is ready to be enjoyed.
