The Ferrari Dino was named in honor of Enzo Ferrari’s son, Alfredino, who designed a dual overhead-camshaft V-6 engine for both road and racing use, before tragically passing away from muscular dystrophy at the age of 24.

The Dino 246 GTS (or Spyder) version was first presented to the public at the 1972 Geneva International Motor Show with the new open targa-top roof, which proved to be massively popular with customers in the United States.

This lovely Pininfarina design is in excellent condition with just 24,500 miles from new. It has enjoyed a 30 year ownership in a noted collection, and remains highly original and wears the factory # 106-M-73 Marrone Dino Matallizzato paint, of which just 210 were produced. The mid-mounted 2.4 L V-6 give this Dino perfectly balanced handling, and it is certainly just as incredible to drive as it is to look at.

195 HP, 2,418 cc DOHC V-6 engine, five-speed manual gearbox, unequal length A-arm front and rear suspension with coil springs and anti-roll bars, and front and rear disc brakes. 92.1 inch wheelbase
